How long is my CARS Certification valid?

The initial CARS National Certification is good for one year.  As long as you take a Continuing Education (CE) course every 12 months, your certification will remain valid. If you do not take a continuing education course within three years of taking CARS, you will need to re-certify by taking the CARS course again.  There are certain clients and states that may require CARS certification more often. Check with your state or clients to determine what they require.
